The Spring 2023 edition of The Rookery is now out! Take a look to see the latest builds, guides, progress and development updates on the upcoming 1.18.2 switch. You can read it here:
Been playing around with this whole block models thing on the weekend.
It's pretty cool that it allows us to remodel blocks that have already been placed. If done right we could touch up the ints of old builds automatically.
Here's a possible remodeling of the flower pot:
I don't think we can though. As for the squash fields I've seen people place grass right on top of it, so simply replacing the squash block won't work at all as you'd end up with floating grass due to the reduced size of the squash...
I wanted to start a thread to collect information on how modding/extending WesterosBlocks works and how to create new blocks for WesterosCraft.
Right now I'm just collecting various resources, which may later be compiled into a guide. I hope that @mikeprimm and @Emotione11 can pitch in on this...
I totally agree! I mean the whole pack is incredibly neat. Like just perfectly matched and well executed, especially for 20th century builds.
I'd like to suggest WesterosCraftifying* a sub-selection of the following blocks for OT. Perhaps this pushes the discussion and consensus forward.
As...
I went and checked it out today and it is mediocre at best. I mean hell it looks cool and I love the idea but the block is currently a solid square block that cannot be traversed i.e. it has the full collision. Furthermore, when looking up at it from underneath there is no fog effect and one can...
I believe they are solid blocks (like glass blocks). On the Arda Discord they discussed all the options including web-type blocks and this turned out best-looking.
Towards the end of the vid I posted, Dags opens the brush options and it just shows the conquest:cloud_white block there. One of...
The madmen over at Arda + Conquest did it! :O
Conquest apparently has a bunch of cloud blocks with different densities and Dags managed to make a WE brush out of it :O
Can we get that too :O
Clouds and fog plox :3
I just wanted to back up Andy's words here with a nice chart (which can be extrapolated back into our timeframe without too much alterations)

@Andy_Jones perhaps you wanna pull this link into your OP?
Just fyi, If I recall correctly the red plaster was added specifically because there was canon mentioning the use of "Lannister Crimson" at casterly. So unless highgarden ints are described as using a specific green material, I don't think there is any justification beyond what Stoop already...
It is mentioned! There is supposed to exist a type of rum in the world called black tar rum: http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Rum
When I was still a mod I was planning to put a distillery for it in OT.
Sugarcane in westeros is likely imported tho. I suppose this may be grown on the Summer...
Been really busy, but the river is laid out and in its current form approved by lemon as far as I'm aware. That at least should suffice for people to plan accordingly :)
