Yeah, it's a bit hard to represent with a map, but there are a decent number of inclines/dips on that valley between Hornvale lands and the Gold Road. I'd likely have to wind it a bit to avoid the road being too steep.

So, I've been considering an idea to add another entrance to the Hornvale lands for a while now. We used to have a path from the Riverlands into Hornvale, but I scrapped it to stay in line with canon saying there's only one main entrance from the Riverlands into the Westerlands (the River Road...

I mean, according to both the map and the OT document, the entire area I circled in red belongs to the Starry Sept. So, wouldn't it make sense for the accompanying buildings to span the whole area? I don't think the pink section has ever been intended to fit the entire SS complex.

Not entirely sure how this is too little space. The Starry Sept area is already larger than several other districts in the city. I feel like if you're worried about another septry being too big, that could be reduced in size rather than the Starry Sept area being increased.

That area has a natural mountain border separating it from the Riverlands. A northern Italian/Swiss style would work well to transition. Also keep in mind that Banefort is on the northern coast as well and is very Italianate.

I agree with Nuggs that this application might (in its current state) better fit a house in the coastal or central parts of the Westerlands, such as Garner, Doggett, or Kyndall, to name a few.
