The Spring 2023 edition of The Rookery is now out! Take a look to see the latest builds, guides, progress and development updates on the upcoming 1.18.2 switch. You can read it here:
I've updated the OP to include my Macro folder containing my macro/keybind mod config and all the scripts I've collected and made so far:

I should add that using these is at your own risk. I'll be working on better documentation...
Yeah I’m in, I need you to either tell me which schems from treetest you want to use, or lay out new schems in the same direction and manner as treetest (centered, on a square base). I also won’t be able to do any painting of the terrain. Ideally I just come in to help design the forest script...
There is one more option that extends my points in the original post:
6. Clean up the pack. Remove redundancy wherever possible and consider removing obscure and underused blocks altogether in favor of high-value content. Optionally and additionally, we could start using all non-functional...
Hey guys,
I'm trying to understand our current block use but doing so on my own is a slow and unreliable process. Could I ask you to help me if you come across unique uses of our blocks by adding them to the table below...
Absolutely true SseriousBusiness! Although, if I could I would prefer to end most ambiguity.
I think fundamentally, as a community we ought to agree on how to deal with the tradeoff between free choice and resolution.
It's possible to build a ton of unique plough designs in our pack but they...
Unless polished to a sheen black stone rarely has a dark pure black appearance. It would be more of a dark gray IRL. Maybe it's a good idea to take the time to readjust all dark blocks in our pack.
Request for Create 3D block models for all furnace blocks
Request Type: Change
Request Details
Seeing our current furnaces side-by-side with some fireplace designs based on the use of the arrowslit or window blocks makes it obvious that they are just flat textures.
The current furnace block...
Hey Emotione11 and everyone that's interested.
Id' like to make a few changes to how we handle texture requests in the future.
1. I'd like us to formalize the process of requesting new stuff by adding a Form for requests.
2. Each requested item would then be assessed based on two criteria of...
I tried something:

- Change black (?) stained glass to be a prototype brick oven with fire inside (this will need more work)
Changelog:
- Change dagger to be 3D
- Change shovel/spade to be 3D and have a longer handle
- Change pickaxe to be 3D
- Change cleaver to be 3D
- Change dagger to be 3D
- Add 3D wooden pitchfork - temporarily replacing the frying pan block to see if people like it
Ooops, my bad geeberry! I never even check the main page anymore and go straight to the forums where I couldn't find it  It's perfect where it is! Just ignore me!
Gonna make some hot chocolate and cozy up on the couch to read this one for some between years bliss!
Edit: How cool would it be if there was a tab for this (and previous editions) on our homepage?
Hey Shymon184,
It might make sense if your forest weren't drastically different from the forests over at Rousemont.
1) It wouldn't make a lot of sense if the vegetation changed drastically between the two projects especially within that large, shared, cohesive forest.
2) I would offer to redo...
I had some ideas for possible new 'round'-ish 3D blocks, that I'd like to suggest for discussion:
- Capstan (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Modelo_de_cabrestante_mayor_o_principal_(siglos_XVIII-XIX)._Museo_Naval_de_Madrid.jpg) as an upright block, perhaps with different configurations...
I knew about the potential issue of textures getting cut off because I chose to arrange the texture that way. If it is not too egregious we could interpret that as a purely sideways view of the flower, but I can also try doing it differently although this will shorten the small flowers quite...
