BUMP! I've been looking at the lands around conklyn and I noticed that the lands east of the first Holdfast are unclaimed, so I'm proposing an idea to extend the borders east and add a hamlet (or smth else). Here is the border proposal map (existing borders are horribaly imperfect, however the eastern border is more important) :

I'd like to hear your opinions on it and your ideas if you have any :3

hey jaq, as a person who has extended their own project, i would wait until you've finished most of the the current claims you have now, lol. i made that mistake taking on more land before i was truly ready, and i don't want you burning out on conklyn because of so much to do but i will definitely help and keep you in mind on this when the time comes. i hope this isn't coming across as controlling but more as being considerate of you :D you can of course still apply for it, with the proper plans and such by all means i won't stop you lol

I see, alright then! I'll apply for it later after I've finished most of the Hamlets and Holfast's and ofcourse, Brandybottom :3 I'll heed your advice as I have since the beginnig of this project.
But untill then, my proposal will still stand :D

I'm moving it out of Brandybottom, as the updated map shows. It will now be by the newly planned winery south of Brandybottom. Septrys are suppose to be a place of seclusion and worship, plus most septrys that I've seen are in the countryside away from any large settlment. Along with that, most alcoholic beverages were made by monks in the medieval times, so it seemed fitting.
Hope this clears things up for you~ :D

2 things:
- when updating your app, it's better to make a new post with the updated informations, so we can compare to the old ones, because right now I can't really tell what is the update you're talking about
- concerning the septry, I'm not entirely sold out in moving it outside the town, I liked the idea of the faith being very strong in the town

Regarding the first point, I was unsure about how to update it, so I just sorta added and replaced stuff from the old one... Not sure if that's arlight, but my appologies if that poses a problem and an inconvenience :/
Now for the septry, Ark suggested that it be moved out, since it's a place of seclusion and, since it'll be close by the planned winery, most alcoholic beverages were made by monks, so it seemed fitting. I made Conklyn suppah religious so that's a good point to have it in the town, but on the other hand, since BB is former Osgrey and from what I know they weren't that religious, it would make sence that they'd have at least one septry, since atm no former Osgrey lands have one and I dought they'd have it in the town. So there's the Conklyn lore point and Osgrey lore point and considering that the Osgrey lore is canon while the Conklyn lore isn't, I think that it would be better if I stuck to having the septry south of Branybottom. However that could still change depending on your thoughts and ideas.
Hope this clears things up some more :D

Here I have a map of the field plans for Conklyn. Their outlines have alredy been plotted, this is just a detailed explanation about what each part will produce :D

The key:
Yellow:Fruit/Orchards
1.Apples
2.Oranges
3.Peaches
4.Apricots
5.Cherries
6.Plums
7.Strawberries
8.Blueberries
9.Blackberries
The south will specialise in fruit orchards, while the north side by Plumm will specialise on other fruit + the plums orchards (becouse it's so close to Plumm :) )

Red:Vegetables
1.Pumpkins
2.Lettuce
3.Potatoes
4.Beans
5.Garlic

The south of Brandybottom will specialise in veggies, the large ammounts of potatoes is a personal preferance. I like me some potatoes. :D

Pink:Animals
1.Horses
2.Sheep
3.Cows
4.Goats

By Conklyn's village lie the animals of Conklyn. Nothing much to say from that :p

Green:Weed- I mean Grass
1.Wheat
2.Rye
3.Oats

I HAVE ALL THE OATS OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS, BROTHERS. PROVE YOURSELVES TO ME AND I SHALL GRANT THEE MY PRECIOUS OATS. In seriousness, the central lands of Brandybottom and northern-eastern lands of Conklyn serve as the breadbasket of Conklyn.

Purple:Flowers/Flora
1.Lavander
2.Poppies and tulips.
3.Sunflowers
4.Linseed

The border to the south of Plumm contains most of Conklyns flower fields, except for lavander and a part of linseeds. Why? Lavander is pricy and linseeds, you can't have enough.

Hope everything is understood, but there's an elephant in the room. I have no idea how I'm gonna make fields. I don't have the Macros mod, therefore don't have the scripts because of my computer. The problem is still more or less unknown, point is no mods, not for vanilla or wc work. If there's still a short and efficiant way of field making without the scripts, please tell it to me :D Alternativly there's still a thread for a Conklyn editor http://www.westeroscraft.com/threads/editor-needed-for-conklyn.393/ , though some of the things there are outdated since I have E-Lite, an update is needed. If anyone is willing to take up the task, I would appreciate it <3

Hi jack,
It is possible to do fields without macros. I did most of the field at Durwell without macros. I would stay away from any fruits/flowers just because they are a ton of work without macros, but stuff like wheat and barley are easy. Just paint over your field with a placeholder, replace to plowed soil or farmland or whatever, and set some masks. Then you can just paint the stuff over.

Example for wheat field:
/br sphere wool 5
/mask dirt,grass,gravel
//gmask <air
-paint over field
-select field
//replace wool farmland
//gmask <air
//replace 0 90%crops:7,10%crops:6

And remember, scripts are just a collection of worldedits that are run quickly. You can download the script files and open them in a text editor, and paste them in game or look at what percentages are used for stuff. The only thing the macro mod does is compile and run these commands quickly. Hope this helps!

I'll definatly use the mothod you discribed, though I'd still like some fruits and flowers in my lands, I am quite willing to do the long and tedious steps, unless ofcourse I would find myself an editor willing to work for me, which would aid me greatly, since the time of endless tests and oral exams is almost upon me -.-' :D
Thank's for the help Duck ~

Hey all :3

I'm making an UPDATE post giving a rundown of everything that has been made thus far.
Here's a list of mini projects:
Conklyn Castle-complete
Brandybottom-almost complete
Conklyn Village-complete
ConkHf1-complete
ConkHf2-plotted
ConkHf3-NEW PROPOSAL ˇˇ
ConkHam1-complete
ConkHam2-complete
ConkHam3-plotted, yet to be approved
ConkHam4-plotted, yet to be approved
Winery-testing
Manor-complete

As you can see, most mini-projects are done, 7 out of 10(11ˇˇ) to be exact. They all however lack detailing terrian.

The "Lord's wood" (forest by Conklyn Castle) is compleate, while the the southern forest has just gotten started.
Fields are nonexistant at this moment apart from three by the village. Those still have to be made.

I also have a proposal for a new holdfast in the south:
Holdfast Idea.png
It would be by the forest hamlet in the south and oppened for applications. A problem irises in the fact that there's a tower from Coldmoat there. This idea originaly came from my idea to move it up on the hill on which I intend for this Holdfast to sit attop:
2018-05-06_21.31.28.png
I would like to ask for promission to remove it or relocate it, if my Holdfast proposal is accepted. :3

As for the fields, after I'm done with school, I should be able to learn how to make them myself :D

However, in the coming weeks of May, I won't be as active as before, due to the ammount of exams I'll be having durring that time aloing with the National Examination Tests (Nacionalno Preverjanje Znanja). As a last request, I'd like to see the hamlets, made by Pigxle and javiv, to be approved and ploped into Conklyn. Jaq's stamp of approval~ :D for both of them.

I hope my wishes can be fulfilled~ <3
I wish you all a pleasnt day afternoon or evening :3
