Just about wrapped everything up now and just trying to audit the town and castle’s ruined structures for consistency. Aiming to apply for post approval in the next week.
with the colors I was aiming to match the Skull block, which itself is very pale, since I figured that was the most prominent and frequently used bone block.
If I’d matched them to the more yellowy colors in the other bone blocks somebody would’ve been unhappy about that instead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think the Schems having their respective trees in the right part of the Schem is key, since steep hills are less forgiving and it becomes very easy for trees to spawn floating in the air.
Maybe we should make a bunch of new schems using your Schem script (rather than running the risk of...
Tham I’m super curious about how you went with the Norridge forest scripts. It sounds like they got the job done, was it super painful? Do you think the scripts have enough versatility to be customized and used in other areas?
The dream has been to have a script where you can select an area...
Pretty quickly realised that those first catacomb bones only work when they're all lined up and there should be a top down view as well, so I reworked them a bit.
Ideally this block would work like the firewood/barrel blocks, where you can place it in different directions. Right now my...
Hey Dutch, this is awesome work, you’ve gone much further down the rabbit hole than most others have on this subject.
We’ve canvassed around and none of the mods have any particular objections to these plans. Perhaps if you and Stoop want to trade notes and put together a final list of proposed...

Thanks Tham!
I've had some success with using the sine and perlin approaches. I think a mix of both looks good so it doesn't look too uniform.
Can see the major difference it makes compared to the standard Stormlands chocolate brown.
So if this looks good in principle then I can start...
Hey N1, great job with this blacksmith, I think at this point you'll learn more from being an actual builder, so consider yourself approved!
Please make sure to read the New Builder guide here: http://westeroscraft.wikia.com/wiki/Newbie_guide
The next step is to make a probation thread in the...
The KL Update is going great! Everyone seems be enjoying the abundance of plots and getting the chance to try out the refined building styles.
One thing we'll need to pin down sooner or later is how we're going to approach the road mix and if we want to make any changes.
Here's a shot of a...
Hey guys I’m ok with these plans, couple of queries before the greenlight
- Just to clarify, will Hardhome be a part of this project? Have you done any tests for it?
- A more detailed map showing the reterra area and the planned locations of the settlements would help a lot with getting a sense...
Yeah I tried playing with the y value/frequency/threshold but it generally just had a tendency to make it look more blobby, certainly up for trying out the angled expressions though
