Nikas Kunitz Builder Application

The third house, where only one man lives, not even married yet. This is the poorest household. There is minimal furniture for living and no oven with chimney - open fireplace is used for cooking and warming, so the wall near the smoke became blackened. But at least some delight this guy acquired - delicious fat fish is being fried over the fire and empty plate with knife await the diner.

Hey Nikas!

Great work! Not only the houses but also the little hamlet look very well done, I believe you did a good impression of the Gaunt style. The effort and the dedication are definitely something to commend you on.

I only have two quick notes on minor things: I think it looks somewhat odd to have the baby cradle hanging from the ceiling, specially under just one rope, feels very unsafe; perhaps having the cradle in the ground would work better (a design commonly used is making them using thatch stairs and wattle fences). The other note is about having the lantern in the barn - something very minor, but I would still think the barns should keep the theme of how poor they are, too poor to afford something made with glass.

With that aside, I think it's clear you'll learn more by working under probation in the server now. So consider yourself approved! :) Next time you're online remember to ask a mod to promote you.

Now that you are approved you should first read our New Builders' Guide and then make your probation thread. A probation leader should answer the thread and take over your probation within a week, but feel free to send me a message if that doesn't happen. You can find plots to build using the Dynmap (there's an option called "Open Plot" that shows available plots), having a look at /warp build (that may be outdated sometimes) and by asking other builders. If you wish to you can ask a mod to give you a plot in the Test world where you can practice building.

Congrats and welcome to team! :D
