MAJOR UPDATE!

Fin has extended the woodwright's river in Hutcheson lands(he is doing an amazing job). I've updated my map to fit these changes. Here are two maps, the first being the current map and the second being my vision for the lands

As you can see, a lot has changed. The mountains have more dominant ridges, much like the mountains near Banefort. Of course, the ridges won't be exactly as shown. The hamlets and holdfast have moved and a village has appeared beneath the castle walls. I've added a stone house variant for the village. The vegetation has also changed.

I hope you like it, leave a comment otherwise!

hey pigxle i noticed something on ur idea for your lands
I like the way you have set up your lands could go more into detail for the fields and main village with the look of them ;), i saw that the hf was within the orchards on your vision for the lands. I think this could be moved to the right closer to the roads and next to the river, that way they will have better visibility(defending the roads(its crossroads) and also be backed onto the river so they can't don't get surrounded on all sides and easy access for water, hope thats ok :) but i think that all tho :)

Hey Pigxle. A few things:

-The updated map is a great improvement from the first. Nice work.
-I would perhaps try to allocate a bit more room for pastures
-I'm confused as to what the current state of Renly's Camp is. I know there has been some discussion in the Horn Hill thread but I've yet to see anything definitive. Unless someone can confirm here that this is the final location, what is the plan for that area if the camp location is moved? More forest I guess?
-Is the tower from the original plans gone? If not, I have questions about that as well.
-Could you do a quick layout drawing of the castle with buildings and features labeled? It doesn't have to be complete, I'm just looking for a general idea, as it's hard to tell with the current picture.

Thanks.

Edit: I noticed you have a more complete layout on your plot. Forget that last question. I'll just review it there.

Hey, thanks!

I've updated the app, make sure to check it out! You can find more information about the village and hamlets, complete with models. The models are bit out of scale, but you should get the general idea. I gave some more details on the terrain as well. I don't know anything about Renly's camp, except that it belongs to the Horn Hill app and that I should leave some space for a possible location. And if it moves to a new location in Hutcheson, I'll replace it with whatever it moves too. Else it'll just be forest. There is no tower on the current map, but i might add one in the middle of the central pastures and maybe one more at the base of the upper ridge.

Hey everyone!

I think it is a perfect time for an update. The project is slowly coming together, and I hope to finish at the end of summer. There isn’t much progress lately due to my busy schedule. I’ll be back from vacation next week.

Terrain
The part west from the river is almost completely done. The fields are done and the trees are in place. However, on the eastern side there is a lot to be done. Fin started on the mountains, but I haven’t seen him in a while. I’m afraid of messing it up if i try myself. The rivir itself has to be done as well.

Settlements
The village has opened for building and already has a few completed houses. In agreement with Stoop, the hamlet bordering Oldflowers, is focused on glassmaking industry. There is still an holdfast open for application.

Castle
I’ve once again updated the castle. This will probably be the final one.(although it is a bit square) Most interiors need to be build.

Altogether i’m fairly happy about the results so far.

Time for an update again.

Unfortunatly school has started again and that means I won't be active very much.

Hutcheson is nearing completion!
Every house is build, the castle is finished and almost all terrain is done. The forest is slowly progressing due to my inactivity and lack of motivation. I also need someone for my holdfast in the north, please. I think it would improve my motivation and make me finish, because that and the forest (and the river ofcourse, but i'm not fit for that task) is the only thing left to do.

The end is near! I hope to finish at the end of this year.

Hei, so i tried to do some good layouts fot the holdafst but im not too powerful witch how i thought. This is tentative plan how it can look. I will redo it probably when i'll plan it there because im not sure about terrain. So take it with overstatement and don't think about my artistic talent.

Hey Des,

Looks good! Just a couple quick pointers:

- It might be better to slide the houses down the road towards the base of the hill, where the land is flatter (it will also help you incorporate the field better).

- Make sure when you actually plot the yards to avoid "bubble yards", i.e. you should use straight lines for the walls of the yards (can be diagonal though).

If you do those things, you have my approval! Assuming @Pigxle likes the plans.
