Launcher doesn't launch game even with right Java file path selected...

OS: Windows 10
Launcher Version:
[1.6.0]
Issue: Java 64bit installed and proper path selected but still doesn't launch game

Explanation: I have installed the new game launcher and I do have Java 8 64bit installed as well. My OS is Windows 10.
But the game launcher loads to 100% and that's where it ends. I don't have a "launch minecraft button" and I'm not sure if it's an issue of my minecraft being the latest 1.14 version. I did pull up the console coding and there are errors. I've inserted a screenshot of it and attached a screenshot of my Java settings... Thank you for any help you can give me!!

Alright... I had the same issue and found a fix that helped me:
Go to the launcher and click on the Java tab in the settings
Ensure that the file (Under Java Executable) says: Selected: Java 8 Update 221 (64x)

If it doesn't (obviously it won't if you're reading this), ensure your Java is up to date and is the 64x version. Then click on Choose file > Local Disk > Program Files > Java > jre1.8.0_221 > bin > javaw
This should give you the Selected: Java 8 Update 221 (64x) message and it will allow you to launch the game.

If these steps don't necessarily work for you...just ensure your selected file under Java Executable is the javaw.exe application

I hope this wasn't too janky and helps you out!

OpenGL threw an error. Would have to look into this tomorrow, dont see an immediate solution right now.

Yeah, not enough memory. The game needs at least 4GB allocated, and that means your computer needs at least around 6GB of RAM.

Code:
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Initial heap size set to a larger value than the maximum heap size

Adjust the min and max RAM settings.
min > 4GB
max > min
Your system requires at least about 6GB RAM. If you have less you won't be able to play.

Been having the same issue, tried to follow everything and for some reason it won't acknowledge that I have the right Java installed at all.

Code:
C:\Program Files\WesterosCraft Launcher\resources\app.asar\app\assets\js\loggerutil.js:9 [Minecraft] Error occurred during initialization of VM
Initial heap size set to a larger value than the maximum heap size

C:\Program Files\WesterosCraft Launcher\resources\app.asar\app\assets\js\loggerutil.js:9 [Minecraft] Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Xmx512M

You're using the correct Java, but you need to allocate more memory to the game. It needs at the very least 3GB of RAM minimum to launch. That means your PC needs at least about 5 or 6 to work. Make sure you have enough RAM available, then make sure you've allocated enough in the launcher settings > Java > Min and Max settings.

If you've done all that and it still throws the same error you may have some global variable overriding the launcher's java settings. We can look into that once you ruled out the other issues.

I think I've found a problem. I tried to set the envoirment variables and I saw that I don't have the javac file anywere.
I didn't found a way to fix it...
