Does not do anything after clicking launch.

I'm super new and recently downloaded the launcher and all that other stuff.
I updated it and when I press Launch Minecraft, in Log it comes up with this message.

Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for 2097152KB object heap

and then in green just under that it says:

[16:54:37.960] Minecraft process terminated


I really really wanna play the server but I'm not that tech savvy. So if anyone could please help me resolve this issue, I would appreciate it so so much!

Take a look at this troubleshooting guide, it sounds like you might not be using 64 bit java and/or have enough memory allocated (try 3G).

I have the same problem... I checked my Java version (yes it´s 64bit) und I tried 3G memory space, but then I get the same error with the report that 3G aren´t enough as well... If I try 4G I get the pop up with the error report
