Hey 7,

I looked over the updated app and only really have a bit of minor terra feedback - in the stream test I'd find a way to get a less abrupt transition between the muddy sand and the grass. Otherwise I'm happy to approve provided you take the previous feedback into account to the best of your ability.
Hi Emot,

Thank you so much! I've had a go at trying out a smoother transition for the banks of the stream:

Happy to add grass on top if needed but hopefully these block show a better transition for the stream. Happy to tweak though if needed!

Hi 7,
I can jump on as approving mod to this one as well.

Once you get started please copy the current castle over to Old Builds for preservation.

While our terra tools are still more limited, I'd kindly ask you to refrain from any sweeping changes to the terrain. Since the current Kidwell lands are currently in a state of acceptable completion (more or less), if you feel the need to nuke anything, it should be surgical and targeted, and worked on as a priority.

If in 2 months, Kidwell looks like an orange placeholder wasteland like this I'll be very disappointed.

Hi Cash,

Thank you! no problem, I'll move the castle first thing so it's saved :)

Most of the terra work is mostly on refining whats already there so making sure the shapes look smooth so don't worry there shouldn't be any nuking or large placeholders around!

Hi everyone,

Here’s a quick update on the progress of the Ivy Hall. In under a month, the castle and its hamlet have been completed and are now ready for exploration. The initial smoothing of the land has also started, bringing it to a reasonable standard around the castle and nearby areas.

I’ve created a style guide to maintain consistency across the project. Please use /warp ivyhall to review the guidelines before building. In addition to this, I’ve plotted the locations for forests and streams, and work has begun on one of the streams.

The first hamlet, IvyHam1, is now open for building. Use /warp IvyHam1 to check it out. Before you start building, please make sure to:
  • Read all the signs at the style guide warp.
  • Explore the castle hamlet using /warp ivyhall to familiarise yourself with the project’s style.
The land around IvyHall1 has been fully smoothed, and I’ll continue smoothing the areas around each new hamlet as the project progresses. If you have any questions or need clarification, feel free to reach out.

Thank you!
