Playing around with wood textures

Maybe I’m alone on this but. I like the framing ctm from the originals. It’s a subtle detail that I always felt went a long way and this along with the visible nails. Otherwise the planks start to translate as just stripes.

the last set looks a bit cartoonish imo, id prefer the 2nd one
