Hi, I am trying to login from the launcher and I am told my credentials are incorrect. I have tried using both my username and my email and they do not work. I have changed my password just to make sure I am not entering the wrong password, but still I am not getting in. Any recommendations of what I can do?

Yeah. Unfortunately the launcher doesn't work with Microsoft accounts right now - you will have to manually build the launcher, refer to this guide:

Yes, I tried building the launcher manually, but it still did not work. Im not sure how I can get Minecraft without a Microsoft account, I thought I had set up a mojang account but guess not...
