Approved Deep Lake Redo Appeal

Hey everyone, I'm here to appeal that Deep lake is removed from the No Redo Policy Per Clause B of the No Redo Appeal (Inadequate Canon Clause):
The original Application for Deep Lake mistakenly placed the lake south of the Wall which is incorrect there is also some new canon from F&B that has come out since the original build in 2015, not to mention that the current Deep Lake is merely an updated version of an even older edition. This appeal would mean that the castle is exempt from the minor updates most other castles are currently receiving through the Nightfort Server Build.

Here is all of the important Canon:

QuoteAnalysis
"Greyguard has largely collapsed. Stonedoor would serve better, if the men could be found. Icemark and Deep Lake as well, mayhaps. With daily patrols along the battlements between." (ACOK Jon V)Deep Lake is in better condition than
Some other castles.
The gate the Nightfort guarded had been sealed since the day the black brothers had loaded up their mules and garrons and departed for Deep Lake (ASOS Bran IV)Can hold a decent sized group of Watchmen, stables for Mules and Garrons.
"Twice as old as Castle Black," Bran said, remembering. "It was the first castle on the Wall, and the largest." But it had also been the first abandoned, all the way back in the time of the Old King. Even then it had been three-quarters empty and too costly to maintain. Good Queen Alysanne had suggested that the Watch replace it with a smaller, newer castle at a spot only seven miles east, where the Wall curved along the shore of a beautiful green lake. Deep Lake had been paid for by the queen's jewels and built by the men the Old King had sent north, and the black brothers had abandoned the Nightfort to the rats. (ASOS Bran IV)Likely the youngest of all Wall castles, Lake north of the wall, can house at least ¼ of nightfort capacity.
They had walked from the Nightfort to Deep Lake, and from Deep Lake to Queensgate, following a narrow track from one castle to the next, never out of sight of the Wall. (ASOS Sam IV)Paths between Nightfort, Deep Lake, and Queensgate are small and close to the wall.
"Most will be housed in one of our abandoned castles." The Watch now had garrisons at Icemark, Long Barrow, Sable Hall, Greyguard, and Deep Lake, all badly undermanned, but ten castles still stood empty and abandoned. (ADWD Jon XI)Deep Lake seems to be deemed suitable for use over some of the other ruins.
His queen, Alysanne, was also well loved throughout the realm, being both beautiful and high-spirited, as well as charming and keenly intelligent. Some said that she ruled the realm as much as the king did, and there was some truth to that. It was at her behest that King Jaehaerys at last forbade the right of the First Night, despite the many lords who jealously guarded it. And the Night's Watch came to rename the castle of Snowgate in her honor, dubbing it Queensgate instead. They did this in thanks for the treasure in jewels she gave them to pay for the construction of a new castle, Deep Lake, to replace the huge and ruinously costly Nightfort, and for her role in winning them the New Gift that bolstered their flagging strength. (World of Ice and Fire)Constructed with the money of the crown, smaller than Nightfort.
It would take eight years to raise the new castle, which would bear the name of Deep Lake. Outside its main hall, a statue of Alysanne Targaryen stands to this very day. The Nightfort was abandoned even before Deep Lake was completed, as the queen had wished. Lord Commander Burley also renamed Snowgate castle in her honor, as Queensgate. (Fire And Blood)Statue of Alyssane in front of the main hall.

Hey Scub!
We've had a chat and can confirm this redo appeal is approved!

Main caveat is that it would be great if the new plans for Deep Lake could include removal of the south side lake, and adding it (or another one of similar size) over to the north side, and accompanying terra to get everything smoothly consistent.

Let's save the old Deep Lake as well in old builds and look into potentially relocating it somewhere in the Gift as an abandoned holdfast.

Look forward to seeing your plans for the new castle.

Great! Thanks so much, I've got plans for the lake and such in my application and I can update the old one for a hamlet!
