Request: Retexture Glazed Terracotta for Floors

Try to describe all current uses of the block you request to be changed. Do you foresee any issues/ problems that could result from changing the block?
When we updated to 1.12 we received the new vanilla blocks of Glazed Terracotta in 16 variants. What makes these blocks unique is that they can be rotated to create ornate patterns in a 2x2 grid or bigger. Why not use a CTM? 1. Because they are hard to create. 2. Because glazed terra-cotta can be rotated in multiple ways to make multiple patterns without using multiple separate blocks, saving us space and making them more efficient.

Nicodemus made an excellent concept texture for this.

Loving this idea! I don't believe they get changed at all in updates ahead of 1.16 either.

That gives us 16 potential block variations to work with with maybe 64 pattern variations in a 2x2 space without mixing any two different colour blocks into the same pattern.

Let me just add they are super usefull as wall blocks too (just a pain in the butt to work with). This is a perfect opportunity to add more tile designs for Dornish buildings and such.

Just saying here that those textures that I made are free to be used and edited . Just give credit if you gonna put them into action.
[EDIT:] forgot to say that they are currently 16x16 but I can make larger scale (32x32) versions if needed.

I think we should have a variety of region-specific terracotta floors since we have a wide range of glazed terracotta blocks we can retexture

However, these type of tiles were generally way smaller.

The type of tiles you're working with are called encaustic tiles.
