Terra Project - Field of Fire

For heavy freight I would say yes but for passenger travel and light goods I think the land route would be quicker (provided the road is in a good condition and the threat of bandits not too high). Bearing in mind distances on our map have shrunk down so the detour you suggested is on the...

Terra Project - Field of Fire

It would be wonderful if you could get around to sorting that little river out Cash! I should think most of the crossings could be fords, bearing in mind that the Kingsroad crosses the (much wider) Trident at the Ruby Ford. Couldn't we reduce the number of crossings just by running the River to...

    Block Change Request: Brick-colored slate

We're going to be using IMPERIAL measurements I hope? None of that continental nonsense.

    Block Change Request: Brick-colored slate

The small brick block actually looks a bit like plain tiling, which would be a welcome addition.

Completed Application Thread: House Varner Redo by Jakethesnake

Please check the above link to Emote's map. We've region locked close studding for a variety of reasons, but a principal one being that we didn't want to create style outliers in regions that were mostly complete without using it.

Ah I see. Care to comment Jakethesnake8_8 ? This is the first I've heard about it. There is no mention of it anywhere else in the thread or in the application.

I agree with Veggie and would also add that close-studding is not found in this area, so those blocks will need to be omitted from the palette.

Nightfort Server Build - Ideas thread

*drumroll please* It's the Nightfort Canon Roundup! Context: - Largest and oldest castle on the Wall, twice the age of Castle Black, making it at least 1,200 years old (first mention of Castle Black in the timeline is 600 years ago). - The castle was rebuilt many times with only deep stone...

    Abandoned Project Application: Maidenpool

Last I heard, though Veggie can confirm, the pink blocks were still being fine-tuned which is why they have yet to be fully implemented.

    Oldtown: Feedback and Suggestions

To clarify, I have no issue with using gradients, I'm just explaining why they are used in favour of monochromatic palettes. There are a number of examples of structures in Westeros for which it is hard to find real life inspiration. The Dragonpit is a notable comparator as it is also black...

    Oldtown: Feedback and Suggestions

I agree that for our players sake it shouldn't be pitch black, but there are ways around that. A lighter floor or ceiling colour would help with that. I also think we could introduce a few more black marble variants that aren't as dark as our current block. I'm not sure what you mean, the...

    Oldtown: Feedback and Suggestions

These are great ideas, but you are misreading the canon. The quote is "black marble walls and arched windows". The black colouring is not exclusive to the windows. I agree that the main sept, or I guess what you might call the main tower, or "dome" should be black while the rest of the sept...

    Westeroscraft Texture Pack Megathread

Hey Tham, great idea! DM me with a rough idea of what you want the form to look like and I can help you implement it (unless you or someone else is already on top of it).

    Oldtown: Feedback and Suggestions

These are great inspirations. I especially love the tangential cloister at Oveido, which I have found to be the norm in Britain as well, as opposed to incorporated, centralized ones which we have so far preferred for our septries. For a building as old as the Starry Sept (depending on who you...

    Oldtown: Feedback and Suggestions

Quick round up of Starry Sept canon, let me know if I've missed anything: Canon Appearance: - It has "black marble walls and arched windows", visible from the exterior, as seen from a bridge near the Quill and Tankard. (Prologue, FfC) - Also visible from this vantage point are the manses of the...

Can I use the mod/resource pack outside of the server?

Hi there! Yes that shouldn't be a problem. If you share any builds online using the mod we just ask if you could give us a credit.
