The Spring 2023 edition of The Rookery is now out! Take a look to see the latest builds, guides, progress and development updates on the upcoming 1.18.2 switch. You can read it here:
Can I also add on a request to have a version with Muddy Snow texture on the top side? That way we can have a little more versatility in terms of look. Or another option is to make a few slight alterations to the snow to make it seem like there is thatch underneath?
Hey, just going to ask you here to please redo the forests, please. Burley is in NP2 and so uses ancient wolfswood schems and has irregular snow patterns, weird breaks and other issues that make applying any kind of update more painful than it is worth. Please, if you can, clear the area and...
I'd argue that curtains currently used in the north are a practical solution to the climate and so would probably arisen. Interior shutters covered by a fur sounds warmer to me than either or. With drystone structures in Norrey I tried to have heavy furs covering windows where I thought it would...
Looking good! For some reason this never pinged me so it’s my first time seeing a continuation of the thread.
Tham, while these look beautiful the most important thing about this block is that it allows northern builds to have exposed thatch in their ceilings.
I’d be satisfied with something...
Can I please implore that builders not use Brochs in the Gift's grasslands east of the mountains. They're a Northern Mountains thing. :p Johan's immersion is in the mountains
Hey, I've just came across a bit of lore/canon that is pretty important. I remember the Street of Sisters being described as 'straight as an arrow' and so looked into it more. Jaeharys essentially bulldozed a lot of twisty streets and houses to do some urban planning and restoration like good...
Hi Inverted winger, just some feedback, why would the outer houses be clustered around an interior, Also, wouldn't it make more sense if they were spread along the road? Maybe with the tithe barn a little way off the road as it would have been built after the hamlet came together?
Some food for...
Remember with the Nightfort that Deeplake has no lake south of the wall, and because of that there is more room for buildings and gift space.
Also, reclaiming the land taken by Deeplake's noncanon lake would make it easier to have the grasslands and bog described as being around the nightfort...
So Norman Kite Shields for 1x2 blocks and bucklers/round shields for 1x1? Sounds good.
For biome variants, would Birch_Forest and Plains instead get heater shields for 1x1?
Just to add my two cents,
I think that 'Dornish peppers' actually includes both Capsicum and chilli, so that the stuffed peppers are like actual stuffed capsicums while snap peppers and dragon peppers are more like IRL chilli.
Might be too much to ask for both a capsicum sized one and a chilli...
I'd say for ^ IMajic, that Winterfell would have more crofters within the wolfswood, like the crofters village Stannis camps at in ADWD or the crofter's sons that Theon kills.
They would also probably control most of the settlements along the White Knife down to Condon. Cerwyn currently is in...
issue with connecting to fences is that that you'd need only the twine side to connect, cos it would not work if the cloth side connected. Idk how to say this to make sense got to run to lecture
Hi, sorry if that came off as being standoffish. The mountain clan warps weren't brilliant to begin with.
But to defend myself quickly on the liddle proximity point, it was in regards to foot traffic. One could follow the kingsroad and get to Liddle lands more quickly than to travel across the...
Hey! Another adventurer venturing into the mountains! I wish good fortune to you in the battles to come, their both fun and formative :P
Anyway, I've had a look at your map and you seem to misinterpret where Harclay is. Harclay is on the eastern side of the range and Bran indicates that they...
Hahahaha,
anyway, its a very fun document. Just one thing, iirc the Braavosi bred the essosi sea snails to specifically produce the famed purple pigment, the tyroshi snails have been bred to produce a wide variety of different colours. I'd say go with any colour except purple as the 'main'...
