Westeroscraft Not Responding

Since downloading the new launcher I have not been able to open westeroscraft. I can open the launcher but when I try and play the game it opens and freezes on the westeroscraft logo. I have an Apple MacBook Air. I have checked that I have the right version of java as well as checking the connection. I have spent many hours trying to solve this problem and I still haven't gotten to the bottom of it thus any help would be very much appreciated.

How much RAM do you have? The game freezing on launch is a clear indicator that your computer is running out of memory.
