Strange error

So, I click the launch minecraft button, and nothing happens. I go to the log, and the error i get is "Patcher expecting non-empty class data file for net.minecraft.entity.SharedMonsterAttributes, but received empty" What does this mean, and how can I fix it?

try and try again with updating. it is a rare glitch, happens to me too. it jsut has to get all files downloaded, sometimes they dont due to firewalls and such
