After about a week of experimentation, I've perfected my grilled cheese recipe.

- 2 slices of honey wheat bread
- 2 slices of cheese of choice (I used sharp cheddar which i sliced myself)
- Butter
- Optional: sliced ham or turkey
- Let skillet heat on stove to medium heat while preparing the sandwich
- Microwave 2 small pats of butter for 10-15 seconds or until they are adequately soft but not totally melted.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread, being careful to make sure it is evenly spread
- Assemble the sandwich with buttered sides of the bread facing outwards, the cheese in between, and the sliced ham/turkey in the very middle if you choose to add it.
- Set a timer for 2 minutes, and place the sandwich on the skillet, and move it around with a spatula while it cooks, so it doesn't soak in its excess melted butter the entire time.
- After 2 minutes, flip the sandwich over and repeat step 5.
- Dump the sandwich onto a plate, and slice diagonally. Enjoy.
