I was a member from 2013-2015 (my username was different, I was Desert - I worked on Clifton, White Willow, BWK, and Ashford (before it was redone)).

It's not so much a book or movie series but I really like the world of Warhammer Fantasy.

Game of Thrones, Clash of Kings, Storm of Swords, Feast for Crows, Dance of Dragons

Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, Season 4, Season 5, Season 6, Season 7

I believe I put Daenerys on my original application, but the show has spoiled her for me, along with most of the other major characters. Although he is relatively minor, I do however continue to like Edmure Tully and find his character sympathetic in both the books/show.

I think I have a strong command of medieval history/architecture, particularly when it comes to more gothic style buildings. Furthermore, my builds are often restrained and realistic (my old Ashford castle is a good example, redone by Lord for canon issues but still visible on the Instagram).

I very much enjoyed working on Westeroscraft several years ago, and I love all the progress that has been since I left. I would like to start building with the new blocks and styles, and participate in coming server builds like Oldtown.

Hey Desert/Det - long time no see!

As always, you have a good grasp of the server's style, especially the low-medieval aspects - this was something I always enjoyed about your work.

Few quick pointers to get you up to speed:
- We typically don't use the borderless daub block on edges - it should usually be surrounded by the wood bordered daub block
- Not sure how I feel about the use of the halfdoors as edging for the daub and wattle - sometimes it looks good, but I think the stuff on the facade with the chimney is a bit excessive.

Because of your long history with the server, I'm happy to approve your application as it is. However, make sure you spend a bit of time exploring some of our newer builds - Fairmarket, Wickenden, Stoney Sept, Uffering, Highgarden, White Harbour etc - to get your head around our newer styles.

The next step is to contact a mod in-game to promote you to Builder (as an old hand we're comfortable with you skipping the full probationary process). I would advise you to ask for plenty of feedback for your first few houses though, to make sure you've got the hang of things.

Best of luck, Iooking forward to having you on the server again!
