Request: More Ice Blocks
Request Type: Unique Addition (specific to a build, region, or culture)
Describe the use of this block in said build, region, or culture. How is it unique? To the best of your knowledge how could it be used in a different context?
By adding a greater range of ice blocks, we get rid of biome dependency (transparent ocean ice versus solid extreme_hills ice) and can give a bit more depth to the Wall, glaciers up the Skirling pass and in the Mountains of the Moon, icebergs, icy shores and beaches, frozen rivers, frozen lakes. The list goes on and on.
So I'd like to request:
Types of evidence to support your request: Historical
Historical Evidence
I know the second image of the skater is a bit murky but you can see the faint patterns in the ice that just don't look like ripples. I couldn't get a good still from the video its in but there's some really good points where you can see the faint cracks and details in the really thin ice. This "alt" collection has thin ice w/ snow making it visible on top.

So I'd like to request:
- an opaque ice block (a biome independent version of the old texture)
- a snow dusted ice block OR snow CTM like with terrainset
- a blue ice block for glaciers and icebergs. can be patterned
- a black ice duckweed/carpet block for newly frozen rivers. transparent enough to make the dark biome colour rivers look really cool! Gives them faint fractal patterns. Thinking parts of the Milkwater and Last River in particular.
MB a snowy version of this block too! - crushed ice/slush layers for making piles, reefs or hummocks on shores/lake edges
