Completed Project Application: Long Barrow by Auscar

The hills don’t necessarily need to be high, just enough tha it shortens the length of the climb. It would be easier to extend the forest till it almost touches the wall, which it is said to do in many places.

Remember that small boats don’t need to have piers, they can be landed on the beach. This also applies for longships, which have a shallow draft and were designed to be light so they could come up onto the sand or be lifted over some obstacles. Piers help though

In some areas builders already make striations using mixtures of blocks, like the Eastern Island stripes in the Giants Lance and what Cash with light stone at Wullvillage3. I think we might end up with a mixture of fire and forget for less frequented areas and interesting features and hand done...

    Probation: Scubooty

There are no limits on how many houses you can make during your probation period, nor anything against you doing more of 1 style. Its all good practice. The below will be edited as I get around to the builds today I like how you've cleaned up the yard at duskendale but I'll give it one last check.

Covering the north in Snowy Spruce

I’m up for having them without snow. What I’ve also tried out in Norrey is replacing only the block under air with snowy spruce and it looks pretty good. Norreyvillage, the norspruces on the northern side of the bridge. It makes the snowfall feel lighter and that might help in the southern areas

Covering the north in Snowy Spruce

why not go west to east, as there are more finished projects on the western shore? Knott, Norrey, Lorn, Shadowtower+westwatch vs Karhold (which has unfinished areas) and the Dreadfort (Lets count it for arguments sake)

    Probation: Scubooty

Alright! I’ve checked out your Norrey house and left melons. You’ve done very well with the gradient and shape of the building, my only issues were with the roof. I’ve modified the western side and an indication of what’s in looking for. I also moved the building down 1 block. Interiors are very...

Woohoo! I’m looking forward to checking out your take on the common house in a few hours. NoMoreFun plotted and is leading that mini so if he gives any feedback, please listen to it. With your duskendale house, there is still more that can be done to make the yard look fresh. Try adding more...

    Completed Queensgate Foster By Johan

So first thing, part of the blue area you’ve marked is Norrey. I’d love some help with the undergrowth of the forest and some more details to it though! I was going to put BSentinelM and OTSentinel near and on the edges of the forest so there is a bit of a buffer between pines pyramidy pines and...

It sounds good. Iirc we have two fences, one in Westeroscraft and the other normal but iirc there’s a reason for that. Maybe one could be changed to have rope topping?

Yeah there are quite a few problems in the northern old builds that can be fixed. Thanks for the info on where to find some of them!

There’s a little bit more of the biome brushing I want to do with the sand but it won’t change the look too much

Is is dry bush or dry shrubgrass? In general dry shrubgrass is the better option as it has more colour variation and is not the bony, bleached white. I'd suggest doing what Tham said but also mixing in some fescue too
