This thread is intended for consolidating maps for various agreed-upon regional stylistic guidelines that are currently scattered across multiple threads. The thread will be locked to keep things organized, but I'll incrementally add maps here as people suggest them to me.

Timber Frame Variant Usage Regions

d-wmap-png.5574

Notes:

1. The colored infill variants aren't generally meant to be used as a dominant material, but rather as ornamental variants (e.g. for wealthier houses) in the designated regions.

2. For the close-studding variants, the dotted line shows the "extended" region where use of the block in a subset of houses, as a complement to the main style, is acceptable. The hard black line shows where close-studding should be used as a primary housing material.

Riverlands Stone Type Map

This is an updated version of an older map showing the stone type subregions of the Riverlands.

Notes:

1. Projects along the borders may experiment with transitionary styles.

2. Maidenpool additionally uses the "pale pink" stone variants, as per canon.

3. The Blackwood Vale region (between Riverrun and Fairmarket) is not set in stone, but will be determined if/when that region is worked on.
