While working on a Seal Rock Ringfort mini on my plot I took the liberty to do some reasearch on Ringforts for inspirational purposes and so far I have found two scholarly articles and two non-scholarly articles on Ringforts. I know from my readings on the First Men that they may have built many ringforts across westeros just like at the Fists of the First Men and at Seal Rock. I think we can use these sites for inspiration when trying to incorporate First Men Structures into The North or other regions. In my research and findings I tried to choose only the most descriptive or categorical articles.

The 1st Link is a pdf from JSTOR on ringforts and stone structures on the Aran Islands particularly Inishmore.

The 2nd Link is a pdf from Academia.edu on on Ringforts from an area called Clonakilty

This 3rd Link is to a site I found on Dun Aengus, a ruinous fort on the edge of a cliff on Inishmore. The site also contains a map of old stone structures bearing much significance across Ireland and contains good descriptive information on a list of well known ringforts along with lists of other stone structures.

This final link is something I found interesting as it is the only link I could find as of the moment that offered up a good description of Dun Conor a massive and well preserved ringfort on Inishmaan.

If I do any further research on Ringforts which I prolly will as I do love them as I have traveled to Ireland several times and taken many pictures of them. I will post links to sites related to this subject matter as I find more information.
