Request: Windows blocks; blind windows
Request Type: General Addition
Try to describe all workarounds and associated issues that make it necessary to add this block in your eyes.
I’d like to propose the addition of blind windows.
Blind windows are similar to regular windows, such as the gothic window we already have, but masoned in. Similar to how the timber frame has an open version in the form of a window, I’d like to request a closed version of the gothic window block.
While in most cases these will be filled with the same stone as the window itself, various infills (that do not clash with each other) can be considered. Examples would be a small brick infill from the same set, a brick infill or in case of a brick window, a plastered infill as was common in brick gothic architecture.
The use for a blind window block is purely decorative, either to portray the history of a building, to make it symmetrical or just to break up that empty wall.
Here are pics.
