Hey BobWat! You were indeed missing OptiFine, but given that you have been informed already I won't go deeper into it. Other than that nice work with the app house! I see no major issues with it. With this build we hope you catched some of the techniques and ways we have of building here. Now your task will be to build other houses in the style of different locations in our server, but this time instead of copying you will have to come up with a design of your own based on the characteristics of the area we tell you.

Your next challenge will be to build a farmer's house in the style of /warp sdham1, with a yard. You can also check /warp sdham2 or /warp sdham3 for additional inspo, they all follow the same style. Once you are done you can upload some screenshots here and I will evaluate them as soon as I can. Have fun!

Sorry for the wait, am kind of busy with school, had to write a paper about procrastination, that made me decide to get this build done. I think the house is really similar to some in the stone dance hamlets, but they all kind of look the same tbh.

Hey Bob! No worries! Take your time, I am the only one here who is meant to reply within a set period of time. Overall I'd say that the small break was great, as I think your house looks amazing! I don't think I have any comments to make, other than perhaps removing the blocks you used to create a deeper crack at the front of the house, next to the front door. It looks awkward from the inside. That technique is appropiate for foundations or thicker walls where you can get away with having 2 blocks-wide walls. For your next challenge go to /warp GhostHill and make a house with a profession and a yard, Good luck and have fun!

PS: We recently updated to 1.18, so you may see some broken stuff or unusual lag when at the server. Be aware that is expected and eventually it will change.
