The Kingdom of the Netherlands

I was building a weirwood tree in a city located on a MC lotr modded server, and someone said "you should look on Westeroscraft how to make a proper one" (I spawned a big tree in with ./tree big, added some branches and changed the ID's :p) Thus 3 years later I end up here.

The Witcher, Narnia, LoTR,

Game of Thrones

All of the above

Classic Answer: Arya Stark, stands her ground, does what she wants, comes up for girls without being a SJW. Eventually becomes a deadly killer despite her being rather short, she did what no one expected, I like it.

I'm very specialised in terms of defensive planning, I often calculate practically every angle of defense and plan them very carefully, I hope this counts as something unique ;p

a interesting skill.... ah, I am very good at building houses attached to each other, so I can work efficiently in city envoirents.

Last skill or well rather just a trait of me is that I do not like worldedit, no, this does not mean I don't understand it, it means that I try to do as much by hand as possible, and if that means making half a cliff block by block, I will do it. I only use WE if absolutely needed.

After four years of building on LOTR I have grown rather tired of that universe. With the GoT series ending I searched a way to continue my interaction with the universe. This server offers me to do so, in a way I have been playing minecraft for five years: building. In the hours that I have been online I have seen how there is a nice and professional build envoirement, which will help me step down my game. I strive to become more humble, and appreciate the smaller builds more, and build up from there. I also desire to reach a new level in my building, and this seems a perfect place to be for all of that.

After recieving Feedback I have done the following:

- Added a picture of the attic
- replaced the trapdoors with wooden carpets (not shown in the pictures)
- Made a picture of the stairwell
- completed the challenge

Album of the challenge:

"YOU KNOW NOTHING, JON SNOW"

Hey bokops, cheers for applying with us!

I'm thoroughly impressed by your application - very brave of you to go for a diagonal.

Things I like:
- Great daub and wattle
- Nice balcony
- Great interiors
- The yard and road outside puts the house into context, which is really important

Things that need improvement:
- Can't see any images of the attic area - did you fail to build this or just forget to take screenshots? We don't accept just closing off the roof area of houses because they're tricky
- Use the wood carpet blocks for shelves instead of trapdoors - less able to be messed with
- Fence blocks on top of the roof are a bit excessive
- Cover the sides of cabinet/crafting table/bookshelf blocks that aren't being used (usually with a halfdoor or another block)
- Can't see any staircases - it's important we know that you can get these right

For your challenge, I would like you to build a low class house in the style of /warp seagull (a village in the Bandallon region of the Reach). Focus particularly on keeping the interiors humble, putting the house in context and creating nice rafters. Additionally, could you send some more screenshots from your first house to show the attic and staircases? I just want to make certain that you're up to speed with these aspects of interior design.

Best of luck!

Hey, just happened to come back to this and noticed you updated the original post with your challenges!

Thanks for taking the time to update the original house. With regards to this, the staircase is good (though you have too many chests - these are reasonably expensive and shouldn't be used more than 1-2 times in a house) and the attic is a bit sparse. I can understand this as a personal choice, but I'd recommend adding some spiderwebs to augment this feeling. As for the challenge...

Things I like:
- Everything

Things you could improve on:
- Perhaps add some vegetation around the outside (ferns, weeds etc) to make it feel lived in, and a spiderweb inside to add to the humble interiors

On that note, I'm more than happy to approve your application. The next step is to contact a mod in-game to promote you to New Builder. Please make sure to read the New Builder guide here: http://westeroscraft.wikia.com/wiki/Newbie_guide
You will also need to make a probation thread in the probation forum. You can start building at any open locations on the server - you can find these at /warp build, although it's sometimes outdated, so I would also recommend just asking people in-game and checking the forums for recent project happenings.

A probation leader should post on your thread within a week or so and continue to give you constructive feedback on your houses for the next month (though they can be quite busy in real life, so don't shy away from asking other builders and mods for feedback either!)

Welcome to the team, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.
