Approved Central Westerlands megabuild (Tarbeck Hall, Sarsfield, Oxcross, Hornvale) by lemonbear

After having the chance to look through all the thseptry apps, I've decided to approve Alex, Zsomi, and Antony's septry. To everyone else who made tests for it, there will be two more septries (one closer to Sarsfield and one by Hornvale) that will be available further down the line. Feel free...

Approved Central Westerlands megabuild (Tarbeck Hall, Sarsfield, Oxcross, Hornvale) by lemonbear

Hey, all! It seems there might be some confusion. I already approved @phondi's thhf1 app a few pages back, and he got mod approval. If he ends up not going through with it, I'll open it up to future apps. Otherwise, there will be more holdfasts available further down the line as more of the...

@epke: I approve the hamlet, but I want to see the plotting in game first before you build, largely because I prefer odd sides instead of even. @Augurex and @Pigxle: I haven't really had time to come check out your tests in-game yet because I've been really busy, so I'm holding off on my...

@Pigxle: I don't want olives in the area. Here's the description I put together for the septry on the first page of the thread:

    Immersion Build Guidelines

Finally the long wait is over, and Immersion Builds are here! As you all know, our current system of projects is centered around the Great Houses, towns and cities of Westeros, and their respective vassal houses, communities and features. I.e., Builders lead or co-lead one project at a time...

@Thevikingcorgi: I approve your plans! I just want to see the plotting in context before you start building, and I'll help out with the fields.

Planning List of all available projects

Looks great Otty! Just a few things in the Westerlands: * Sarsfield should be upgraded to at least a Level 2 * Algood is listed twice in the Level 3 Not Complete section * Doggett is in progress

Viking, Your test looks pretty good! Just a few things to fix before I approve: The scale of your map is very off, and that will almost definitely impact how your farm complex fits into the space. Also, there is a lot of space to the north of the farm that you can also use for both your farm...

Approved Central Westerlands megabuild (Tarbeck Hall, Sarsfield, Oxcross, Hornvale) by lemonbear

@phondi: I just have a few nitpicky comments like the palette for the floor/ceiling (don't like the stormlands cobble ceilings/floor) and some furnishing stuff, but that can be changed when you start building. Keep in mind, however, that because the holdfast is in a different location you will...

Approved Central Westerlands megabuild (Tarbeck Hall, Sarsfield, Oxcross, Hornvale) by lemonbear

@det13 : Some more feedback. I don't really like the gated wall, the iron bars, or the fences on the warehouse roof. Also, what is the tower for exactly? It's a bit much for something that's just supposed to be a farmhouse. The plaster/gradient needs a lot of work. It looks patchy. @Ammika: I...

Approved Central Westerlands megabuild (Tarbeck Hall, Sarsfield, Oxcross, Hornvale) by lemonbear

@Ammika: The test looks pretty good, but I have some feedback. I'm fine with the new placement for the holdfast, but what are you planning to do with the area surrounding the keep? It's a bit awkward as it currently is. Are you planning to change anything terra-wise? The keep is really narrow...

It's always been a part of our rules for minis. @Enah @CashBanks Wanna remedy this? Also, looking back on my feedback for Kuzlov's app, I asked for a communal bakehouse to be in the hamlet. Can you make one of your planned houses into the bakehouse?

@phondi: Your holdfast is a good start, but I want you to think a bit more about how it fits into the terrain. The curtain walls are kinda awkward since they butt right up to the hills, which make them not all that useful. The shape of the holdfast also plays into this. As it is, the...
