The Spring 2023 edition of The Rookery is now out! Take a look to see the latest builds, guides, progress and development updates on the upcoming 1.18.2 switch. You can read it here:
I agree with changing the silos to a granary, and I think this looks good! I trust you'll do a good job with the project. Just need one mod approval now before you can get started!
Small update: I'm adding a new mini project! It's a farming hamlet at /warp sfham2. You can either plot it as a conventional hamlet or take cues from the plotting at /warp oxcross nearby. No matter what, it should be clear that the residents are generally farmers (can have additional hobbies...
Could you make a version of your pack without the sandstone/brick/lp/arbor/oldtown stone and plant changes? The stone changes in particular don't really work with some palettes that currently exist (e.g., they make the Central Westerlands houses look a mess). I do really like the changes with...
The septry (image #9) on the Banefort page is actually in Stackspear lands. I accidentally put it in the Banefort folder at some point (I think I had duplicate pics).
One possibility is that the underground structure (if you want to keep it as the main bit) isn't a repurposed tomb but was first unofficially and then officially called "Long Barrow" because being assigned there feels like being buried alive (or that you're likely to die on the job). It could...
The first picture is from when the project was still WIP, and it has things still floating in the air. I'd probably use one of these two instead.
I also just uploaded a new version of the sunset picture without the weird black dot in the middle of the sun.
I have no issue using arbor cobble to blend with the new Westerlands terrain set, and I need to do systematic replaces for all of the rock schemsets because they don't come in Westerlands. There are many such existing options to fix up terrain set use. However, we have repeatedly said over the...
Can you show what this looks like at Banefort? I actually really like this new version of the Westerlands terrain set with the more subtle but still visible color variation. However, I can't quite tell if it was made brighter than the current version without a comparison shot.
I'm wondering if less drastic tonal variation would work? Or perhaps variations in shade? I like the new textures, but I do agree it could use a bit more variation if we can figure out the right way to do it without it looking too busy. I remember Thamus was messing around a bit with some more...
I have a few of my project in the Social Media + Shaders Drive! Here's the link to the folder: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ryMzp18J8SZyVbZjnnq8qEzhfTa5BzA5
Wear a Captain America skin and somehow sit backwards on a chair.
But in all seriousness, I think this is a great idea! I wouldn't say you need to use shaders unless you really want to. Dutch and I just put together a video that's a bit of a behind the scenes showcase discussing the project...

Today is the last day to submit an entry for the Westeros Captured screenshot contest!
Submit your entry by sending it in a forum mail to WhereRmyDragons, CashBanks, or me (lemonbear)!.
I'd also love to help (since it's a major part of what I want to do professionally), and I've already done a truncated version of this for my current job. A Visual Identity Guide (which would be part of a larger brand guideline document) would also make it easier to have a consistent brand image...
