What is your age?
21-24

In what country are you living?
Germany

Where did you first hear about WesterosCraft?
Youtube

What do you like the most about GoT/ASoIaF?
I love stories with vivid and expansive Universes and worlds and I got completely absorbed by the ASoIaF Books when I read them. My favorite Character is Tyrion Lannister, he has mixed feelings towards his family and I find this oddly relatable. I also really like the places that G.R.R. Martin invented, especially the Castles. Every one of the big castles has something that makes it special.

What is your favorite build on our server?
Casterly Rock. It's a castle that we hear very little about in the books and it still managed to be pretty much like I imagined it.
It's also HUGE. I like getting lost in there.

Why do you want to join our server?
When I first saw this Project on Youtube I was really amazed by it, because of how gigantic it was. I like that the design is oriented on the books rather than the TV-Show, because I must admit that I don't like the Show that much.

I already applied and actually got promoted to builder a couple of years ago but I was pretty much inactive for more than a year so I was asked to reapply.
I want to start building on the server again.

Hi Liell,
Thanks for completing this Tor house. The Tor is one of our more recent projects and it looks like you've done a nice job with capturing the modern Dornish style.

There might be some scope to add some more interior detail blocks, like candles, mugs etc, but overall the house looks good.

We have a few towns in progress at the moment, so it would be helpful to see you've got a handle on more urban houses.

With that said it would be great if you could build a middle class house in the style of Highgarden, (take a look around /warp hgtown). As with other town houses, it should have a profession/business on the bottom level e.g. carpenter/wine merchant/tailor/blacksmith, and a yard would be great as well. Given your previous experience on the server I'm sure you'll be up for the challenge.

Thanks!

Here's the house in the style of Highgarden. It would probably sit inbetween two other houses so I left the sides kind of plain.

Hey Liell,
Thanks for finishing this HG house, it's looking nice and polished and I like how you approached the layout/profession.

Only small notes I'd have:
- I think most houses in HG have the steeper roofline. Not a big deal but just worth considering for next time.

- It looks like the floorboard cross beams are running from the front to the back of the house. I like to have these span the shortest width of the house so that the beams are shorter/more structurally sound.

Otherwise I think you're looking in good shape to rejoin the builder team! Glad to have you back.

I've checked with the other mods ands we think it would be fine if you did a short probation period just so you could get some more hands on feedback on the latest building styles. It would be great if you could setup another probation thread and do 5 houses for a probation leader's review. If all goes smoothly we can promote you back to full builder.

Cheers and see you in Westeros.
